2025 Recipient

A compassionate and determined young scholar, Hailey Dahn graduated from high school in May 2025 and is now pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse at the University of Nevada. Her dedication to healthcare stems from a deeply personal experience, witnessing the care her younger brother received before being adopted into her family, and becoming both her brother and cousin. This profound journey inspired Hailey to make a difference in the lives of others through nursing.

Hailey is a dynamic and well-rounded individual, actively involved in volunteering with the National Arts Honor Society, excelling in flag football, and nurturing her creativity through reading, drawing, and painting. As the eldest sibling to three younger brothers and sisters, she has developed a strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and leadership—all qualities that will serve her well in a Pediatrics or Emergency Room nursing career.

Reflecting on her passion, Hailey shares:

“Nursing gives me the chance to work in a field where I can combine my interest in science with my passion for caring for others. Through personal experiences, I have seen the difference compassionate care can make, and I want to be a part of that process. Nursing also offers endless opportunities to grow and learn. I am excited about the possibility of making a real impact every day.”
